The Process
In my Process of Studio 2 I focused on the making of three high quality garments. Through thorough development of our teams concept, I created drawing, samples and finally the runway ready garments. My knit specialisation and embroidery ideas offered me a wide variety of possibilities for my designs so I developed a material overview with samples and experiments. The final lineup of the capsule collection was an ongoing process next to the development of the garments, which was closely connected to understanding Balenciaga's design language and developing a skill to connect it with mine.

This bodysuit empowers women to cover and reveal themselves in whichever places they choose. The statement on the turtleneck is to give back the power to the women by carrying a provocative statement against catcalls.

This utility skirt empowers women to embrace transparency of their identity and of anything society might stigmatise. It celebrates femininity by showcasing it as a strength and a tool that women own.

This spencer is empowering women by breaking the stigma and taboo around menstruation. Instead of censoring an d portraying it as a weakness, this spencer acts as a soft shield for the female warrior.
